I've been playing for a little less than a week now, but I'm at 3 star with the Village Elder, just trying to upgrade my weapons and get new armor before I get somewhere near High Rank. I play with a Switch Axe and Dual Swords. I can use every other weapon except the Bowguns, Hunting Horns, and Lances. So anyone have some advice on some low rank gear that's a good choice for me? (I've read Jaggi armor was the best because of it's skills, but I really hate all the negative element defense it gives you.)

Now ^, the title-- What are your feline comrades like? Describing their skills, lvl, etc.
I currently have five cats, but I can't decide on how I want my two to be partnered. At first I wanted an attacker and one supporter. Like healing/flutes, but Pacifist suck. -__- Now I have this downloaded cat with 350 Atk, 212 Def, and a few useful skills. But one thing about him is it says Melee only, but I see him setting up barrel bombs and occasionally throwing them. IS he some secret special cat or something? I don't usually like bombs on my cats because they hit me while I'm doing a combo, but this cat doesn't.

Yo, glad to see that you are playing but please refrain from talking about hacking and piracy in this forum, do yourself a favor and click on the black pen icon above your post and edit it, and erase that whole first sentence. I mean I don't want to sound rude, but it isnt allowed to discuss things on Piracy and hacking, sorry.

Now onto your felyne, I don't use the downloadable ones, but it seems you got a special one. I don't recall ever hearing about melee only-bombing felynes.

Onto your problem for a good armour set, the Jaggi set is actually very good. I used it 'till I got the Barroth one, but I only switched for the looks of the other armour. The Jaggi is good.

What makes the Jaggi armor so good besides the skills? The negative defenses are annoying to my eyes. lol

Your felynes seem cool! Why the same skill on both of them though?

Lol because I get better chances of shock trapping a monster and more health flute boosts!! Sadly... I've stopped using them for the time being so that I can get used to hunting alone
