okk well like it says its kinda cheat but there so hard to get so this is what i did for my golden moon mail.

Make an armour set with carving celebrity, i reccomend blue guild knight armour (you dont need to gem for carving celebrity) the armour is made from azure loa-shan pieces and some others that i forgot.

Start either a high rank or G-rank quest with a rathian or rathalos depending on which ruby you want, I would also reccomend the fleyline elder silver rathalos or gold rathian. Simple take 1 shock trap with 2 genprey fangs and two trap tools (make sure your wearing the armour with carving celebrity). now this wont work with a gun or a hammer. I reccomend Ls or GS, just get the rathalos/rathian in a shock trap cut its tail and keep repeating til it comes off then carve off it (you get two carves off the tail due to carving celebrity) if you get a ruby get killed 3 times. If you dont abandon and try again. i did the fleyline elder one maybe 25-30 times and i got 4 using this technique just be patient and it'l pay off

lol i thought guild armor has bad luck ._. u could just do the nekoth silver/gold ian and capture them with good luck and luck booster :3

lol its not a cheat i done this and got plates and rubys without trying killed gold rathian under 5 minutes and silver rathalos capture i did not cut no tail or break no wings just face and capture. and i did 9 star elder cat quest lol most people r doing g rank and cutting the tails atm the only problem im having is finding torns and heavyscales for both rathalos and rtahian

hmmm i got a gold rathian thorn just form killin her, dont die i think it affects weather you get one.

I do this all the time. I've been doing it in low-rank lately trying to get plates. (5 Los and Ian plates for Eternal Anhilator... WHY CAPCOM?!?!?!?!)

lol, when you guys get to G-rank, these rubies and plates will be nothing. The item that will be bothering you when you are in G-rank is heavenly scales and heavenly shells. They are just ?*#! rare, even rarer than rubies.

Heavenly narga scale, heavenly tigrex scale, heavenly rathalos scales, heavenly rathian scales, heavenly black gravios shell, heavenly gravios shell, lao shan heavenly scale.

Those are very rare. Also not forgetting the big earth dragon jewel, another super rare item in G-rank that everyone wants.

those big wyvern stones ain't that rare. You will get 1 every time you fight 2 or 3 G rank wyverns:) i got 14
