if you really like bows, k, bows are a really good idea vs rajang is not really necessary to bring an ice bow, but it will help a lot, the main thing u should bring vs him is a bow with a nice rapid shot, rapid owns rajang, so blango bows are the best, im not really sure if those blango bows have rapid S, but check them and if they dont have, just take any bow with a high level of rapid S. so the higher upgrade posible of blango bows should be enought

yes agree with nargakantor. I used blango bow and and cleared hunter rank 9 final invitation in 20min. If you're going to melee this shit, be very careful. Its punching attacks are deadly and he almost always does that. Quickly roll to your left whenever he directly faces you. This will effectively roll away from the punching attacks. Keep on your left to avoid the attack where it goes zig zag. Standing on your right will get hit no matter how you roll. Good luck. rajang is one of the monsters i struggle with in the game.

kk, for the silver los and golden ian, the best way is with a thunder ls like the TDS series or with a thunder bow with pierce or rapid, both can work. u should have elemental attack up if u use LS and if u use bows pierce S Up or Rapid S Up depending on what u use, then its easy, just go for their wings or legs. and shen is just a piece cake, if u gonna use melee, go with hammer or LS with fire or dragon element and go for its legs, when the leg that ur attacking turns red, go for another one and keep right that, when he falls attack the head, a really useful skill to bring is quake resistance, u should bring this skill to fight gaoren without beingannoyed by the quakes. and if u gonna use bows, the best way is take a dragon or fire bow with a nice Pierce S and aim to the lao shan mouth, where its toungue should be, i mean the shen gaoren carapaces mouth, thats the weakest point. birng Pierce S Up to help k and thats all, hope it helped

yeah monoblos S is also awesome for those kind of fights remember to aim for the carapace mounth, so silver los and monoblos S are the best armors if u bow gaoren. good luck

lol. Nice tips. If you're going to fight silver rathalos and gold rathian. Here are some this:) Weapon recommendation for the 3 monsters, hammer! Silver rathalos. This guy is a bad ass, but nvm. Realise that he always likes to do flying attacks, like fire balls. That the best chance to land super pound. That's basically what you need to do if you are new. If you can have access to flash bombs, i highly recommend you to bring them. With flash bombs and decent hammer like black smith, it will be down in 7min. But without any flash bombs, you are lucky if you finish it off in 15min. High grade earplug is highly recommended, its favourite combo is roar when entering rage mode and charge and you will be left with little hp. A high rank azure rathalos armour set will do. With 9 slots, you can increase ra or get attack up. Up to you. Gold Rathian is much easier. It likes to do land single fire ball and triple fire ball, and also poison attack where i does a 360 turn in the air. When every it do any of the three attacks, super pound it. Becareful when it does the fire ball, it might do an instant poison attack. The good thing is it doesn't charge as much as silver rathalos. Flash bombs if possible to shorten quest time. Armour same as silver rathalos. Gao ren is much easier as it is in town, not fortress where it keep walking. The strategy is simple, spam super pound at one leg don't change leg, i prefer to hit the back legs. When it falls down, do 4 triple pounds, don't worry, the 4th triple pound will land unhurt. Basically fighting a gao ren in town is easy. Here is it's pattern. It will walk forward and attack, then walk back, stop for a while then walk attack again. Idk if you know what i am saying, but its movement is simple. Bombs are useful. Armour set i recommend i set that gives quake resistance and bomber. I prefer the low rank blango set, you won't get hit seriously. Maybe you can get the helm as the bomber+10 piece, then the other parts blango. Then gem for quake resistance. Good luck!

you don't need any earplugs when fighting rajang, cause when it roars, you go near him and will get hit but no damage taken. K i think nobody understands what the hell i am saying. Neither am i. Way to go

yeah, earplugs for rajang is useless, to be honest, i have never been hitted by his roar, because he only roars when he have seen you ( normally hes far when that happens) or when he gets on rage mode( he steps back and roar, so the roar wont hit you i guess)

Like I've said elsewhere, OP doesn't close discussions. Others just might want to discuss the Nekoht Rajang. Are you suggesting they start another thread on the same topic? That's called flooding, and it's against the rules. If you're done with the topic, just walk away. Stop spamming.
