Tips for defeating the royal ludroth

First off, don't say the GS or switch axe I have tried them. Most people say to use the hammer, should I? Or does the weapon not matter and it is down to tactics. Or is royal ludroth just hard and tedious.

Hammers is awesome against R. Ludroth. I have some personal experience with Hammer battles with him, and it worked just fine.

Focus on the mane around his neck.

Hammer is ur friend with this monster it rools 24/7 so stay in hes back or infront of him trust me hes sides r the worst he LOVES turning around like a moron, charge the hammer and walk around him and wait for the turn lol always roll always

dude ive never used a hammer with him and ive killed him over 50 times a LS or GS works just fine helps alot with cutting off his tail too
