How do i kill the royal ludroth

First, don't say the GS or switch axe i have tried them. I have heard that the hammer is good against it, is this true? Does the weapon matter or does it not matter and it is down to tactics. Or is it just an annoying and tedious boss.

Flintstone hammer ...... I killed my first with it and the upgrade is still great against high rank royal ludroths.

Yeh, agreed with zerda, hammers are one of the best ways vs R.ludroths.

so will any hammers due all has it got to be a specific kind because im up againest r.ludroth but have yet not reached the point were i get to mess around with elem damage as of yet and i heard that Blazing Falchion is the good stuff and how and when does one get to create this fantastic sns

When you get to Rathalos. 5*, IIRC. Oh, and whatever hammer. Again, just a R. Ludroth.

I just got the game and I can't find a weapon with green sharpness to save my life. I need one. Everything just bounces off his head and neck.

get a hammer i use that agaist most of the monster including lagia

when i first fought the R. Ludroth, i used the rugged great sword to take him down. even then though, he defeated me my first time, i came back and finished him knowing his move set a little better.
keep in mind his weak point is really his spongy mane...

but that was then....and now heh....my buddy the long sword is more than enough to do him in Very Happy

long sword is a good weapon 4 most monsters

yes, but i first took R.Ludroth down with switch axe, switch axe is the best imo

lol its ok, and yea its just my opinion, not everyone likes the switch axe some find it difficult to use in fact or some just dont like the style or they hacve other favourite weapons
